R. L. Woods & Associates (RLWA) is woman owned structural engineering firm established in 1992.  During our 29 years history, we have built a large portfolio of project types and sizes, utilizing every common (and some not so common) building material.  Currently, our staff includes 3 licensed engineers providing over ninety years of combined structural experience to serve our clients’ needs.

RLWA strives to keep abreast of new trends and technology and to enter into collaborative efforts with our clients to produce quality designs.  We have provided engineering on numerous LEED projects, achieving every level of LEED certification.  We also utilize REVIT Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and Cloud technology to increase efficiency and improve collaboration methodology.  Approximately 75% of our new construction projects are completed in REVIT.  Of course, we also offer project production in the CAD (2D) environment where desirable.
